I'd be inclined to doubt that although they don't tend to get that hot anyway. I believe the specification of the speed takes into account being in an adapter. To shoot 4K video, would the following micro SD card with its adapter be fast enough, or would the adapter slow it down? It's rated 90MB/s write speed: A stated C10 may be far slower than expected and some rebrands may be using older chip tech that either runs slower from the go or will slow down significantly over time (in weeks with steady use). It is worth remembering though that some cheaper or off brand cards don't necessarily run to the stated specs anyway. As far as the device is concerned it should be seeing the same card, micro or not. There is simply no active adaptive circuitry to change that.
With good kit though the micro should still run at its spec speed. It could, of course be from dirt on the contacts (an adapter doubles the number of contacts that need to be perfect) but I doubt it (but its still possible).
