Or so this is what my (Jing Techsmith) snipping tool seemed to also want to zoom in to this 250%

So my sugesstion is have a play with the display settings, im guessing if you have different resolutions for your laptop/desktop monitors then windows will defualt set the sale and layout to a zoomed "250%" The laptop monitor was set to "3840 * 2160" and my external monitors was set to their max value "1050 * 1680" as im running them in portrait orientation! In hindsight this makes sense as the laptop dispay resolution was a lot higher than the two external monitors. When I chnaged this back to 100% this zooming of the snipping tool stopped and all works as expected! This zoom ratio it seems depends on the resolution of your main laptop display and how it differs to the resolution of the external monitors. What I found was under the Display settings that my "Scale and layout" on the laptop screen was set to "Change size of text Apps and other items" was set to 250% !!!! So I also had this issue when I have my laptop (lenovo dont think the model matters as this is a windows setting issue) connected with two external monitors. There's little to no options to change/edit settings for this app. I've searched for quite some time trying to see if anyone else has come across this issue and wasn't successful in finding any similar problem besides using OneNote 2013 clippings and that's not anywhere close to the same program, any ideas or suggestions?

This is becoming a particularly painful experience, because you'd have to have bionic vision to try and see We've rebooted, we've run Windows updates, we've run HP updates. She's on the ' Rectangular Snip' mode which is the default no, she hasn't selected 'Free-Form Snip' 'Window Snip' or 'Full-Screen Snip' and the default options are selected.Ĭlicking with your mouse and Ctrl + N both cause this output.
SNIP IT DOWNLOAD NOT SNIPPING TOOL WINDOWS 10
I have a user at my company that is using the snipping tool app using Windows 10 Enterprise on her HP 840 G3 Elitebook and any time she attempts to capture a new snip, her display zooms out and creates a wide gap of dark space on her monitor.
